2. Services Description

Mountain Prism provides professional pet care services including but not limited to grooming, boarding, daycare, behavioural training, home visits, and pet photography. All services are subject to availability and our acceptance of your booking request.

3. Booking and Cancellation

Bookings: All bookings are subject to confirmation by our team. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made 48+ hours before appointment: Full refund
• Cancellations made 24-48 hours before appointment: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before appointment: No refund
• Boarding cancellations during peak periods may have different terms

4. Pet Requirements

To ensure the safety of all animals in our care:

• Dogs must have current C5 vaccination
• Cats must have current F3 vaccination
• Proof of vaccination is required on first visit
• Pets must be free from contagious diseases and parasites
• We reserve the right to refuse service to aggressive animals
• You must disclose any known behavioural issues or health conditions

5. Pet Owner Responsibilities

As a pet owner using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your pet
• Ensure your pet is healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations
• Inform us of any medications your pet requires
• Provide emergency contact information
• Collect your pet at the agreed time
• Pay for services as agreed

6. Liability and Indemnification

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pets in our care:

• We are not liable for pre-existing health conditions or injuries
• We are not liable for stress-related behaviours or illness
• You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from inaccurate information provided
• Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service

In case of medical emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we may seek veterinary care at your expense.

7. Photography and Media

We may photograph or video your pet during their visit for operational purposes and social media. If you do not wish your pet's image to be used for marketing, please inform us in writing.

8. Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Collect information about other users
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website

10. Pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices displayed at the time of booking will be honoured for that booking. Additional services or extended care may incur additional charges.

11. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. Late payments may incur additional fees.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
